Moving is important for our body. It serves not only to stay fit and healthy but also to minimize the risk of developing physical diseases. When working from home, exercise is often neglected. This health tip shows you how to stay active while working in the home office.



Due to the current situation our life is severely limited. These days, collaborators who can work in their home office. For many, it means no longer traveling home-work by bicycle or on foot. Getting moving, however, is also very important in this home office period. On the one hand, the risk of physical diseases is reduced, on the other, daily activities keep you fit and healthy.

Keep moving despite the home office

Even more important is to do some training during short breaks from work. Fabian Göring, Prevention Management Specialist, recommends that training includes resistance, strength and stretching exercises.


  • The resistance exercises benefit the circulatory system, promoting blood circulation and activating the metabolism.
  • To maintain or develop muscle, various strength exercises can be performed .
  • Also not to be overlooked are the stretching exercises . For example, those for our hip flexors, which can shorten due to the prolonged time spent sitting down causing tension and pain in the lower back.
